Mission

At Pediatric Dental World, we treat every child as a member of our family. We provide gentle and dependable attention to each child’s individual needs, working to ensure that each child is comfortable and at ease. Our team provides many services for our patients including annual exams, dental cleanings, tooth extraction, sealants, composite and amalgam fillings, crowns & pulp therapy. We also, provide space maintainers and urgent care services. We accept all major forms of insurance at our locations in the East Elmhurst area.

We provide a warm and comforting atmosphere for our patients, and to help each child feel as comfortable as possible, a parent is welcomed into the exam room with their children. We understand that a parent's presence in the room can help a patient to feel at ease and less fearful knowing their family is standing at their side.

Our dentist, Dr. Desiree Laracuente and associates work to provide her patients with the foundation for a lifetime of excellent dental health. She helps each child who requires dental work with a kind and compassionate manner.

Pediatric Dentistry

In the same way that pediatricians are trained to meet a child’s medical needs, our pediatric dental specialists are uniquely qualified to protect your child’s oral health, using the most advanced techniques…and all in our delightfully friendly open treatment area. Pediatric dentists have an additional 2-3 years of training at university pediatric facilities in addition to 4 years of dental school and 4 years of college study. They learn how to deal with the behavioral aspects of children, how to make them feel comfortable, and to make the experience pleasant. Also, they are trained and qualified to treat special patients.
